The VIAVAC GBXL provides you with a single glass lifter that can be used for a very wide range of glass installations. The glass lifter can be set up in as many as 5 different configurations to safely lift and place glass. This makes it possible to place glass of virtually any size and thickness. Also want to place curved glass? By replacing the suction pads on the glass lifter with suction pads designed for curved glass, you can easily do so.
Glass lifter with lifting capacity of up to 1,000 kg
Another great, distinctive feature of the VIAVAC GBXL is that this glass lifter has a lifting capacity of as much as 1,000 kg. The smallest configuration has a lifting capacity of 250 kg and can be expanded with additional suction pads to a lifting capacity of up to 1,000 kg. The VIAVAC GBXL can be assembled quickly and easily without any tools. The smallest lifting dimensions of the glass lifter are 1,100 × 400 mm (250 kg), and the largest 3,350 × 1,300 mm (1,000 kg).
Frames with dividing pillars or sliding doors
This glass lifter can also be easily adapted for installing frames with dividing pillars or sliding doors. This allows a distance of about 110 mm to be bridged. No additional components are required for this application.

Long or short lifting arm
The VIAVAC GBXL comes with a long lifting arm as standard, which keeps the glass hanging straight. A short lifting arm is optional for glass installations in confined spaces. The glass lifter is supplied with a radio remote control, an option for remote suction and unloading of glass in narrow spaces.
Motorized tilting mechanism for precise and controlled glass installations
To place the glass in a controlled manner, we have developed a lifting arm with a motorized tilting mechanism equipped with a radio remote control. The glass no longer needs to be tilted manually but instead at the touch of a button. As a result, the glass is placed with millimeter precision. Ask about capabilities.
Transportation and storage
The VIAVAC GBXL is available with a transport frame that allows the glass lifter to be stored and transported damage-free. The core unit of the glass lifter, including all the spare parts, can be placed on the frame. The transport frame has cutouts so it can be easily picked up with a forklift. The dimensions of the transport frame are 1,200 × 1,000 mm.
