Turning and mounting with just one lifter
Often, certain types of panels are stacked offset when delivered to the construction site (AB-stacking). This is to deliver straight quality, but stability and an optimal load factor during transport also play a role. Before the installation process can start at the construction site, these stacked panels must first be rotated. This manual work is strenuous and not healthy, especially when working with long panels. VIAVAC has developed the RotaBoy, which offers a solution. Modular vacuum panel lifter for healthy working conditions
This vacuum lifter has a modular design and can be quickly and easily adapted to different types of installation methods. With the RotaBoy, sandwich roof panels with a maximum length of 18.5 meters and a maximum weight of 350 kg are effortlessly rotated 180° and lifted to the roof at the touch of a button. Then, you can install them immediately without damage. A second vacuum panel lifter is not required, making the installation process even faster. Within four hours, an entire roof was sealed with a total area of 450 m².
RotaBoy RB2-600: The Hercules among vacuum panel lifters
New products appear in the panel market, which calls for new solutions. Due to the increase in length and weight of panels, VIAVAC has developed the RotaBoy RB2-600 in cooperation with panel manufacturers. This lifter, with dual-vacuum technology, is suitable for rotating and installing panels up to a length of 24 meters and a weight of 630 kg. This makes the RotaBoy RB2-600 capable of handling the longest and heaviest panels.
