After its successful launch onto the market in 2002 , VIAVAC has continued to further develop the CladBoy. To this day, it is VIAVAC’s best-known product and has a worldwide reputation.
Modular build
The CladBoy is the versatile vacuum panel lifter for the installation of sandwich roof panels and wall panels. Due to its modular design, the lifter can be built in different configurations and is therefore suitable for various installation methods. Both long and short panels can be easily installed.

Roof and wall installation
Sandwich roof panels up to a length of 25 meters and a weight of 800 kg can be easily installed, flat or inclined. This lifter (equipped with a single- or dual-circuit safety system) is suitable for the installation of horizontal and vertical sandwich wall panels up to a length of 14 meters or weight of 800 kg. By using the CladBoy in the right configuration, kinking of panels can be prevented.
Renovation projects
The CladBoy is often used in renovation projects. In many cases, this involves the removal of asbestos roofs. For example, to avoid exposing free stalls or young stock cubicles to weather conditions for too long, installation speed is of great importance. Besides the installation of insulated roof tile panels, the CladBoy is well suited for the installation of:
- Curved sandwich roof panels;
- Sandwich panels with integrated solar energy systems
- Heavy rock wool wall panels
- Steel roofing sheets
Suitable for all types of sandwich panels
The standard suction pads are suitable for a wide range of common wall and roof panels. Special suction pad sets are available for other profiles, such as corrugated and roof tile profiles.
Transportation and storage
Transportation and storage have also been considered. The transport frame consists of different parts of the modular lifter. These ensure damage-free transport and easy assembly of the vacuum lifter. In addition, a cover is available to protect the lifter from dirt and rain.
